As of now, you must update your client files. Failure to do so will result in inability to connect to the server.

How do you know you have already updated?
a) There will be a bootstrap folder in your MW2 folder.
b) The server address in the bottom-right corner might be replaced with Build 10723-1/Build 10723-2.

To re-enable/use the updater,

1) Download the updater here. If you already have it and need to re-enable it, go to step 3.

2) Extract the files into the root folder of the MW2 installation.

3) Ensure that your iw4mp.cfg file matches this one below :

4) Run iw4mp.exe and it should start updating.

Okay, we found a way to patch this in 37a.

AlterIWNet's own MaxDamage has stated before that the XUID unban tutorial method doesn't work in 1.3.37a, so no point in trying.

Doing it now I heard results in the iw_22 error.
