Nobody even cares about ripfags anymore.
Lighing is harsh, but contrast is nice.
Color selection could be adjusted a bit, I don't feel the vibrance of the effects on the outside of the stock.
Maybe use less fractals and go back to whoring like quert?

I like v2 better, only because the contrast was adjusted.
Nice use of empty space, effects are simple and effective.
I like it. On v2, did you mess with the offset a bit? or overlay a bucket fill on light grey?
