I Competed in World Martial Arts Games (Held in Regensburg, Germany) and i won 3 golds...

I have practiced Judo until the half yellow, half orange belt, then I quit because it wasn't really my thing.

I have also practiced Jujitsu, but only for 3 months, and until very recently, Krav Maga, an israeli martial art, for 2 years. Probably the best there is really, it will teach you how to fight and survive in MANY, MANY real situations, it's mainly using your body strength to the maximum, and inflicting as much damage as possible on the vulnerable and weaker body parts, and it's an art you WILL actually use in a street situation, becase it's so versatile.

I recommend it guys, look it up.

Krav Maga is Self defence... though! Ju Jutsu is also good for self defence! But... sport side is better!

Dude, Krav Maga is supposedly self defence, but you can use it in very nasty ways... And sports side, don't worry about that, I doubt anyone in this forum is in better shape than me!

I am interested by those, but, it's hard to find such associations in Portugal, I was lucky enough to find Krav Maga... (and loved it)
