Sony Vegas 09 Help.

Hello I've been making videos of cf using sony vegas and I've noticed some strange things in my timeline, basically randomly out of no where some of the clips would just turn red, and it says like the source file can not be found, which makes me unable to view the clip in vegas. Note that the source file is not missing, cus like i dont even have to touch anything, and the clip just randomly turns red. I can solve this by simply restarted sony vegas but it gets kinda frustrating sometimes when this happens while i'm in the middle of editing.
