Ntys.
But thanks.
Some kids in regular math (T_T) could use this.
I'm in 8th Grade.
I'm in like Honors Honors x4, I'm going to Eighth Grade and my math course will be Algebra 2.
I already took Geometry in 7th Grade.

Are you in the 7-9th grade wondering which math class is going to teach you what? Well i was looking threw some random math stuff and i came across this. Maybe it can help you.
Algebra I
* Look at real numbers, functions and algebraic expressions.
* Understand linear equations, first degree inequalities, functions, quadratic equations and polynomial expressions.
* Manipulate Polynomials, Rational Expressions, and Exponential Expressions.
* Slope of a line and rate of change.
* Use and model the distributive properties.
* Logarithmic Functions and in some cases Matrices and matrix equations are also covered.
* Remainder Theorem, the Factor Theorem, the Rational Root Theorem *sometimes addressed in the 12th grade.
Functions and Relastions - or PreCalculus
* Investigate Sequences and Series.
* Understand properties and applications of trigonometric functions and their inverses.
* Applications of Conic Sections.
* Apply and demonstrate understanding while solving problems involving the sine law and the cosine law.
* Investigate relationships between the graphs and the equations of sinusoidal functions.
* Trigonometric and circular functions, identities and inverses, and their applications, the study of polar coordinates and complex numbers.
* Financial applications which include spreadsheets and the use Compound Interest and Annuities.
Finite Math
(Some curricula includes Finite Math which combines many of the outcomes listed in other courses listed her - will apply to 11th or 12 grades.)
Topics usually include: finance, sets, (permutations of n objects) combinatorics, probability, statistics, matrix algebra and linear equations.
Financial Math
* Income, budgeting, purchasing, banking, credit, investments, taxation, and small business operations.
* Compound and Simple interest applications.
* Probability and statistics for business applications.
* Collect, organize and analyze data.
* Amortization, loans and investment decisions.
Pre-Calculus
(Sometimes this is offered in 11 or 12, this course tends to include early Calculus concepts.)
* Properties of functions
* Logarithms
* Sequence and Series
* Trigonometric Functions and Equations
* Vectors, Polar Coordinates and Complex Numbers
* Conic Sections
Statistics
(Offered sometimes in 11th grade, more often in the 12th grade.)
* Statistical analysis, summarize and intrepret data in meaningful ways.
* Probability, linear and non-linear regression .
* Hypothesis testing using Binomial, Normal, Student-t and Chi-square distributions.
* Use the fundamental counting principle, permutations and combinations.
* Use, interpret and apply normal and binomial probability distributions.
* Probability as relative frequency.
* Normal distribution patterns.
i hope this helps some of you.

lol nice......this was meant for some 7th or 8th grades that are in the beginning classes
beginning..
i lol'd.
:d
spell fail lol
I am into using the Distributive,commutative,identity,and associative things right now....I haven't really ever heard of some of them properties or w/e.
I know some of it is very easy,just confusing at first like the word itself :P
Notice,I said some;not everything is easy (for me at least).

I'm not required to take math for 11th and 12th
You only need 8 Math credits to graduate from 12th.
I'm gonna finish with precalculus in 10th and no math anymore
in ontario you need these mandatory credits to pass grade 12.
4 english credits
3 math.
1 history
1 gym
1 art
This thread is utterly useless. All this can be found in a decent textbook and Google.
I knew all this when i was 10/11. I am 14 now.
