CPP should stay CPP, syntax should stay the same. It's C++ not VB++. I perfer the C Syntax anyway, if your going to program for real, you should learn the C syntax since it is also good in C#, C, Java, J#, etc...

Again CPP is unmanaged and VB is "managed", huge difference, you are not able to work within safe code like you can within the .NET Framework.

Also visual controls, are rather easy compared to a menu hack. Menu hacks need to use a DirectX hook rather than JUST memory editing.

I also agree with acid, you sound like a person who has no idea what he's doing. Deliver your projects more professionally and maybe some of us will seriously take a look at it.

Also I believe CPP does not have intellisense which I rely on so much (I always spell my shit wrong...). Its like the spellcheck for MS Word, I can't code without it.

Controls and a D3D Menu are two different things. The .NET Framework, MFC, QT, wxWidgets provides functions to generate controls on screen. With DirectX/OpenGL you would need to do all by yourself, which is a lot of work.

Gah fail on my part... Yes it depends on IDE as CPP is just a language. Still this VB Syntax in CPP does not support the VB Syntax intellisense?
