You should have buyed a book before going there.

There's a Stycky for Recommended ; And no they're not "Too Old".

Or check for online reviews.

Oh ; And you go too fast / Overestimate your knowledge, Don't go try to learn D3D and stuff like you did before you rode some C++ Books several times each.

Sams teach yourself C++ any edition is good.
O'reilly books are good.
C++ primer is good.

Oldschool Isn't that Bad =). And Syntax.. Syntax how you want to, Won't make your Code Better / Worse, Just specify crap in your IDE.

C++ has stayed relatively the same over the many years since its conception. Old school books and new school books are like the same.

Err.. There is only ONE type of syntax... you can't syntax how you want to ._.

What I meant by OldSyntax was the oldie way if Coding Enums, Witch is now way easier Classes, Though you can still code the old way by editing your Compiler's Common Language Runtime Comp., This is kinda useless. I doubt any book in the last many years uses this way of Declaring Classes.
