It's not as simple as plasma : lcd. Plasmas are usually TVs and have very laggy scalers = unplayable games. LCD can also be screens and have therefore way less input lag. Also a TN panel : PVA / IPS can influence your choice.

It's not until you see the better stuff that you know what you were missing. Trust me, I started off with TN panels and now the only time I can bear them is when gaming. Otherwise I just can't live with that crappy quality /

Same goes for size ... I tried the 3007WFP-HC and I just loved the size. Only downside is that the -HC version has a wide gamut (newbs dunno what to do and rage about it)

I have a 32" Vizio LCD HDTV that I use as my second monitor.
You right - there's not any noticable lag.
