How to make my mic louder?

My microphone is always really, really low! Maybe its camstudio?

Is there a better one out there? I don't know, but its really, really low. . .how can I fix it?


Yes my volume is all the up. . .and its on. . .lol

i have to yell into it for you to be able to barely hear me, at normal volume! or you have to turn your speakers all the way up to barely hear me! My microphone looks fine. . .

I have a headset microphone so its close. . .


And just looked in the volume settings. . .volumes up all the way and it says its working. . .and there plugged in all the way. . .When I voice chat theres no problem. . .Maybe its CamStudio? Or how would I amplify the sound? I don't have the sound editing anymore. . .


(Which I am looking for CS5 master Collection so yeah lol)

Yea Your Mic Is Broken Or Your Missing The Input Setting.... If Its Neither There Is A Program Out There To Amp It Up Google Around For It

If your sound card is a realtek download the latest drives and replace them if your using windows 7 this will fix it!

Start>Control panel> sounds/sound devices> and somewhere there is a test hardware button or something [on winxp] you can test the hardware and hear your own voice through it to see how loud it is

Yeah well my sound card is up to date. Sound settings are 100%. Microphones about a year old, but its not like beat up. . .When I voice chat its fine. . .


I might just go get another one. . .Hopefully it'll work lol
