Should GM's get name/title change abilities?

It seems that with the increase in people needing name/title changes. The 3 people currently available are too overworked with other responsibilities.

So do you think GM's should get the permission to do those tasks so we have more people, or even possibly a new group of a select few individuals. (4 or 5 ) people, to do it.

I don't know how they would make this so that it would be impossible otherwise,

but they should make it so that:

1. They can change their name after 1k post.
2. They can do it only once a month.

It wouldn't even involve gm's or up, all it would be would be a accessed form, filled, submitted, and then done.

But coding or w/e for that might be too much idk since i'm not up to date on that.

how about all members above normal members can change our names?...wouldnt that dissolve the que on everyone higher up?... just a suggestion. with the same rules as what you said empire.

I'm not sure what is the best way to go about doing this.

I just know there is a rise in demand for name/title changes. And not enough people to do it.

A section on name changing / user title changing
they fill out a form (not like posting, but a real form)
then a GM + can review it (if possible) and then approve it, and change their name.
idk how the VBulletin Engine really works, and if that's possible.
But it's best to keep things tidy and have a method of doing something relative to form filling

See what I mean. I see threads every other day about people waiting 2+ weeks. And if you look on Dave/Aruns page there is a bunch of people requesting it. Someone asked Arun for title change and he said "You can get a perma ban you little shit" Or something similar to that.

Aruns got 8 name/title change requests on his page from the past 1 day alone. So I do understand his frustration. But it is HIS responsibility. And it's not right when someone asks for a namechange, he tells them this [MPGH]arunforce

honestly this filling out stuff, i *THINK* that is very time consuming. if you spread out the work load over all HA,minions,GM,MODs,etc it will decrease the work load on 1 person (arun for example). and ease congestion. thats my opinion.
