and about 24000 have less then 100 posts total.. =/ unactive in the past month

Well, that's also a let down IMO, we shouldn't force people to post, they can be members, some people are probably reading this thread that have visited MPGH semi-daily, for 6 months straight, and haven't made one post.

Some people are Googlers who make accounts to MPGH, and whenever they go to the next game, they search for hacks and encounter MPGH again, and are semi-regular visitors.

restricting the forums to the public scares people away potential users are hassled into making an account, i know i hate seeing forums that restrict access, i dont bother to join, i just move on. I rather like to see the forum in its entireity to see whats going on inside, who knows you might end up joining a dead site

If you're going to bring up people who just make accounts to download, why would you talk about singling out registered user releases when that doesn't really help.
