Gimp vs. Photoshop?

Whats the big difference between gimp and photoshop? I dont understand. I perfer gimp more, its way more easier to use, I have more expierence with it and its noob friendly. But when I posted my first gimp signiture, (In my sig), My friend and some other CnCers told me that photoshop is way better but really whats the difference?

PS is a complete upgrade from gimp.

Thats about it, EVERYTHING is better, and there are more things to edit on PS than Gimp.

Thats what everyone is saying but I go with gimp because its way easier to use. and again noob friendly but I agree with you when you say PS is a complete upgrade from gimp.
