Crossfire = Joystick?

I Have a old original xbox with 2 controllers. below:

And i might plan on buying the adapter to hook it up to the computer. below:

will crossfire be able to read and use the "joystick" instead of the standard keyboard and mouse. If so the controller will bring major ownage.

I've never heard of it being done.

I think the problem would be the configurations to fit the game, As Crossfire doesn't have this option.

I've tried my Logitech Game Contller with Crossfire, and there's no option to use it.
