This bill would have made millions of fraudulent home loans legal. Bank of America has been forced to freeze all foreclosures because this didn't pass. Many other banks are also voluntarily freezing them as well, so they can't get sued for a fraudulent loan.

This also means that there are a few foreclosed homes that the previous owners can go, sue the bank, and get their house + the interest they paid on the loan.
