Awesomium

What Is “Awesomium”?

Awesomium is a software library that makes it easy to put the web in your applications.

Whether that means embedded web browsing, rendering pages as images, streaming pages over the net, or manipulating web content live for some other purpose, Awesomium does it all.

A few examples of usage!

An offscreen renderer for recordings of web-pages
A framework for an advanced, 3D web-browser
Powering a GUI using Web-based content
The implementation of in-game advertisting.

The best part is, it is built using chromes SDK, so it is webkit based.
I am sharing this because I think it is a innovative idea and I would personally like to see a 3D world browser similar to this



but themed around MPGH.

Well, It's really not a "Web Application" It is nothing more then a 3D world (dx or openGl) with a Webbrowser embedded in the application.

The .Dll has everything you need to create the application.

Plus source and examples. Etc.

It's a novel idea. I think in-game advertisement etc, is long overdue. Do you know rather there is an example web-browser created with this API? I saw the NAVI demo, but there was no source code on it. I for one have no idea how to make a browser, course you probably know this stuff like the back of your hand NextGen.

Does this library offer some performance advantages by drawing content in DirectX rather then with the Windows API?

I agree, You guys should tackle this together on TFS, Do you guys have a copy of VS2010 Ultimate or Pro with Team Explorer?

If you both do (great..)[ if you don't get a copy ] I will create a TFS on CodePlex and add you both as Coordinators on the Project.

@ Question about samples. I have not come across any samples for C++ only C# , those are available at the Codeplex for the DotNet Wrapper.

However the site has extensive API documentation.

You can pretty much drill down into every function / feature / API

As far as performance goes, I would assume that Direct X would be the optimal choice, however , really it depends on the developer, any developer can debate the pros and cons of DX VS. Alternate (OpenGL) any time

However, minus the hard part gives more time to add functionality.

~ Download VS2010 Ultimate From ( https://www.microsof*****m/visualstudi...tions/ultimate) Get Trial.
~ Use VS Key (YCFHQ9DWCYDKV88T2TMHG7BHP)

This will give you a full working version of VS2010 which includes Team Foundation Server Tools / Team Exlporer.

Once you have done that, VM me if you want in on this project, I will add you as a developer for this project .

How do you theme a web browser with MPGH, or any site?

MPGH doesn't really have a colour scheme to add there, and what else can be done other than having MPGH as the homepage?

MPGH Themes

A. Color Branding, Clearly Blue and White
B. It's a Game and Game Hacking Site
~ Which means, Games, Hacking, CA, Warrock, MMorpg's etc. etc.

How is there no theme? MPGH has both a clear Logo Branding and Color Branding, Along with 3D rendered Game Characters, Could make for a great project with tons of fun.

Note: I am not part of the Awesomium Project, The Project I am referring to is using the SDK to build a Web Browser Using the SDK.
