So, what kinda rigs do you guys have? Currently I'm on my laptop since my desktop mobo died on me (along with the CPU and ram). But I'm looking forward to pairing a UD9 + 980x with a FX5800 (or two if I get the cash). Oh and I'll keep my 4 gtx480 cards at hand, just in case /

As far as monitors go I have a few crappy TN panels (mainly gaming stuff, also 3x Acer's GD235HZ), a Cintiq 21UX and a 2408WFP for my PVA needs.

All the other stuff comes in at another 8 grand for my desktop.

And yes, I worked my ass off for that money

D: curse yee.... i worked trough the entire summer vacation ok not long but yeah, i barely can buy a laptop but hey found some asome ones i can buy tobad not hybrid sli :| like most XXODD's prob an high preformance Acer, dell, xxodd, alienware.

the basic pc just cost me 250 euro's thank you ebay ... just bought everything in parts there and by people arround the globe i found germanny sales everthing the cheapest. tobad i cant buy my laptop in parts, i do know how to build one from scatch but i dont have an basic casing then :3 hmm... a reall motherboar with horizontal port for video card like 460 2gb entry and custom case... a cheap and super powerfull laptop(*cough portable pc*...) 1 big watercooler to will fit in better that an oversized fan for the cpu, watercooler north + south bridge.... i like the idea to do this :3 tobad i cant take it allong with me then would way over 5k or sum even if it screen will be like 15 ich or sumething god what if an 18,4 would be placed upon this Fak Apple then < ^^

mine is... but how is it even possible to get an os working on Celeron idd say he already got powned by saying: laggy sometimes...


Celeron is an cheap ass chip pulled together from low powered cpu's trow in cache here ... ad some part of this chip there hey we have a new one its called Celeron < trust me its one of the worst ever to be released even a pentium D could pown it or an amd atom. what kind of socket do you have... maybe a dual core can fit in those are quite cheap but WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY better.

(owyeah one thing who can beat ur pc... 4xsli 480 latest frikken nvidia there is, come on did you get a free Nvidia 3d allong with it... i mean u wont get trouble running crysis/GTA IV at full max and max screen height/width)

Imo quadros aren't worth it unless you're really into it. And I wouldn't have gone for the 5800 if I couldn't have gotten it second hand from a guy I trust.

Yeah the 5600 is quite pricy. Also comes down on how much money I'll have to splurge around in the future. I guess it's me but I always go overkill on things.
