Anyway to crack or bypass microsoft word document encryption passwords?

My programming teacher hands back the programs we make on her website which is MsPetr.org, before we turn in our programs we copy and paste the code to microsoft word and encrypt it so nobody can see it but yourself when she posts it on her website. Was just wondering if there is a way to crack the password or bypass this encryption.
