you can completely unban urself but you can use vac libertion (i recommend 1.04) to start mw2 then you can still host mods or join friends who have liberation too if the have mods or something but there is NO WAY that you can ever play public again,

I like AlterIWnet more than normal game. I finally got Resurgence (wasn't planning on spending another 15$ for a crappy game) and hosting mods isn't bannable there. And I didn't even saw a hacker there yet. (playing for 5 days / ).
