General
I searched this on the Z8games website, and the common consensus is that, the Sound files, are compressed into the .Rez Files. (For Weapons).
Therefore you can not edit them. Sorry.
You could google "Free Weapon Sounds"
Such as;
Free Guns and Weapon Sound Effects
