Yes you may ask about how to bypass whatever. However, in this this you may only ask about bypassing Combat Arms.

OK, so my question is. for combat arms, does the bypassing mean i can fix any hack for combat arms (basically unpatching any of them?) making it to where it will not crash my CA client?

Yes, a bypass allows any detected hacks to function by bypassing the hackshield. However, patched hacks will not work regardless what bypass you have.

Side note: A detected hack is a hack that will not work because it has been caught by an anti hacking system. However, a patched hack is a hack that can no longer be used because it has an incompatible code with the current version of the game Engine, for example an address might have changed during recent updates, and thus cannot work anymore.
