why are the points of the rectangle
(1,1,1)
(-1,1,1)
and other 1 1 1

However, when I moved my mouse to see the world coordinates, the lower left corner is (-1, -1), the upper right corner is (1,1). Is there anything I doing wrong? I assume, because I set the bottom and top to -2 and 2, respectively gluOrtho2D appeal, should give me the correct coordinates
