You will not get banned for using textures end of story. VAC even says you will not be banned for using external textures...

go read again, "Using custom skins, sounds or maps will not trigger a VAC ban. " is no longer on the support page.

hmm...weird shit. Got some people in my steam list, about 10 of them using textures, noone got banned yet. Neither am I. I hope it stays that way lol

Just open the IWD files with Winrar and drag the Files according to the folders into the IWD's, e.g: iwd_03 folder will go with IWD_03.
