    Otaku crisis adverted.

    2ch believes it has successfully divided anime otaku into two distinct types:
    Type A:
    A person who simply enjoys “anime.”
    Is proud of Japan’s anime.
    Evaluates anime based on direction, voice acting, art, etc.
    Hates shallow anime with no real content.
    Story emphasis >>>>> Moe anime.
    A recent example would Higashi no Eden. Fans of anime like Lain or Ghost in the Shell would probably be this kind.

    Type B:
    A person who simply enjoys “characters.”
    Will watch an anime if it includes cute or beautiful characters.
    Doesn’t care if story is awful, as long as the characters are of interest.
    Evaluates anime based on which seiyuu are in it and what the characters look like.
    Loves moe elements. Doesn’t like complex anime.
    The otaku the media picks up on are usually this kind.
    Doesn’t know that much about anime and so is often criticised as by Type A otaku.
    However, they make much better customers than the more discerning Type A otaku.
    Recently there has been a huge increase in anime targeted at Type B otaku.
    People who like K-ON!, Queen’s Blade, Strike Witches and so on would be in this class.

    K, for an example,

    Me= A
    KuroTenshi= B
    Gourav=AB-

    I'm inbetween? If the storyline is shit but the characters play the role as they're supposed to its good. If the characters are shit but the storyline is cool then it's also ok.

    so true...most of the time a B-type
    i can be a A sometime but then the story really is drastic, i look at the art style quite often and how nicely its synced. im quite intrueged by some that's main reason im tempting to "Copy" the style.

    Even though i say this sadly its true... most people that find animes will encounter anime like this. if iu might say the shounen anime watchers get drawn into this typ quite often since those typ of animes use those kind of moments too to keep it childish.

    Typ A animes like Empire told, i watch not that often because
    1. not much of those get created
    2. i either do or dont like the story
    3. i have to say im kinda crazy like total random.
    4. even though i watch a great ammount of diffent animes i only like a few genres those that where made for this typ barely excist.

    So basicly the list above trustable and i thank Empire naming me a Otaku , to all animes that excist stories may suck but i do appreciate the effort into these i have seen how difficult it is to create even the easiest typs of anime though i didnt start that way.

    /offtopic seems that the next season wont have much anime... though looking forward for :
    Anime:
    Beelzebub
    Mitsudomoe
    Kore wa Zombie desu ka?
    Onii-chan no Koto nanka Zeznen suki janain dakara ne!!

    Movie:
    Bleach 4

    Ova:
    (probably the) Queens Blade (one)
    away i commented these: /
    Code:
    Beelzebub: read the manga abit seems promising
    Mitsudomoe: first season really good for a laughter still dont get the ALL ages rate but ok. (do all Japanese need to be perverted from the beginning?)
    Onii-chan no Koto nanka Zeznen suki janain dakara ne!! = already awesome reading the title.
    Kore wa Zombie desu ka?: intriguing art style.

    yeah Bleach: clearly the art style, im a Bleachphag, seen all episodes even if it where fillers + movies + Ova.

    Queens blade "a time filler for a day or sum"... now i have 8 animes that im following each week but all that remains after this season are like 1/2/3 bleach is nearing its end fast too.

    Well the examples are just examples. I'm a fan of the original ghost in the shell(movie) but i didn't like the anime that came after.

    While i highly agree with gouravs statement, my friend is B, and he pays a lot more for anime than i do, so i can see why that shit gets put out.

    :/ if they made certain anime/manga in the states, i would probably buy it though.
    -bought eden/biomega, for some reason Blame isn't out, but biomega is.
