Black Ops De-Ranking Fail

So this happened to me and my friend, he was level 20 1st prestige and then his game crashed, when he got back on, he was level 17 and lost 30k xp, for me, simply my xp didnt count and i kept getting this: [IMG]https://i418.photobucke*****m/albums/pp265/hi1405wut.png[/IMG]

Eventually got to like -37k xp, i restarted my game and i had lost all of it :/ kinda disappointing.

Same shit happend to me but i got back to lvl 21 in 2 matches

Black Ops doesn't save stats locally and instead syncs the stats into Steam Cloud when you are closing the game or idle in the menu. They should make it sync more often otherwise things like this will happen.

yeah ive lvl'd up like 5-10 lvls id got to the next game itll bring me back to the last level, before i ranked up, but it stopped now, gotta let it sync before you close steam and all it's processes.

I fell down from 29 to 14 once -_- then lvled back up to 34 and fell down to 30 again -_- then lvled up to 34 again omfg. I would have been like prestige 1 normally -.-.-.-.-

I lost 6 or 7 lvls. Was prestige 1 lvl 24 so not a big deal getting the xp back.
