Really the difference between Religion and faith are the practices involved.
I'll use Christians as an example here.
Yes, Christianity is a religion.
One may think that because they attend church every Sunday,
give their 10%, partake in the communion, and sing with the choir,
that they are religious.
Now, though they are going through all of the notions that they believe make them religious, and a Christian, does not mean they have a lot of faith.
I think there are many Christians out there that feel it's obligatory
to attend church, almost as if God will look down on them if they miss a few days.
The faithful Christians are those that want to learn,
that want to praise God in fellowship with others,
and really don't focus on trying to be perfect,
because if they read the book right, they know this will never happen.
I think this may have been what Visible was trying to get across.
He can correct me if I'm wrong.

dumb one. The question is, do 'you' have a clue what you're talking about?
Religion and faith are often viewed as the same. The two concepts are not the same. Many people have faith, but do not believe in religion. Religion is man made whereas faith is a spiritual concept. Religion has a background, a conformity of a system of attitudes, beliefs and practices. The word faith can be used in describing the type of religion we associate. Often this religion is one of like minds, and written doctrine.
Faith on the other hand is the actual belief and trust and loyalty to God, the creator of the universe. Faith is an actual deep knowing that you trust in your own belief in God. Theres a big difference between faith and religion.
