    [Tutorial] How to make your game so fast you will poop your pants!

    Yesterday while working on a mod, I started playing around with DVARs and settings to get my game faster and unbelievably, I did some magic and poof! My game was so fast my eyes couldn't catch up!

    So, here are the settings you need to type into the console because some of these are not found in the config file.

    /toggle cl_maxpackets "100"
    /toggle snaps "30"
    /toggle r_specularcolorscale "0"
    /toggle r_dlightLimit "0"
    /toggle sm_enable "0"
    /toggle r_desaturation "0" - Love this, looks like you have colour correction like in YouTube videos!
    /toggle r_zfeather "0"
    /toggle r_smc_enable "0"
    /toggle r_distortion "0"
    /toggle r_fog "0"

    I'm using toggle because some of these will appear as invalid even if they exist.

    My FPS increased from 45-50 to 55-60. May seem little but I noticed a HUGE difference.

    Are all Cheat protected.

    The only one I am not sure works is this one:
    /toggle r_dlightLimit "0

    All the other ones can be changed though.

    Yeah, try with devmap and enter those commands since devmap unlock cheat protected comands and see if you notice a difference.
