How to make c4ds or fractals in gimp or photoshop

If any 1 can translate it into photoshop i would be grateful

1st When you open up GIMP or PhotoShop, the Foreground (FG) color should be black, while the Background (BG) color is white Change the Fg color to White and BG to black.

2nd Pick a File size it should turn black

3rd Here we will choose the colors. I choose a dark blue, and a light blue. NOTE-If your looking for a single colored fractal, then do one color (FG), and black (BG). But for first times sake, we'll do two colors. If this is your first time, then use something like my colors, it will be easier later on.

4th Filters>Render>Nature>Flame

5th Then the new window opens up, click EDIT.

6th Here you will see 9 boxes, and a drop down menu as well as a few other buttons.
Click on the dropdown menu (it should say "SAME"), and select "Horseshoe"

7th Duplicate the layer then on the dup layer Colors>Components>Channel Mixer. In the new window you will see a preview of your image, as well as a drop down menu called "Output Channel". In that menu select "Red" (it should be selected by default).

8th Below the drop down menu you will see 3 slider bars with "Red", "Green", and "Blue". If your using my colors, or something close, then set "Red" pretty much all the way to the bottom, set "Green" near the middle, and "Blue" pretty much all the way to the top.

9th In the layers dialogue find the drop down menu "Mode". The value by default should be normal, open the drop down menu and select overlay.

I didn't read all of that, but could you post an outcome.

C4Ds are usually made a 3d based program.

C4D Are made up from a program named Cinema 4D. Most of times.

mmm yea i guess you could call that a fractal, but not a c4d. Nice outcome. Ill try to do this later on PS and translate it or w.e

i got to the first step and i asume this is a tutorial to make fractals and it came out decently
