You know i've been thinking, unlike christianity, Jesus didn't have an army, he didn't wage war, and it wasn't until after his death that the religion took off.
I'm just gonna go on a limb and say that Muhammed had a lot of motivation to make a new religion.
Lets take the creation:
-He "receives the quran" in private.
-Claims it was given to him by God.
-No proof.
Then he gathers followers, builds an army, and then wages war.
-Conquering, then forcing the religion just as the romans did and many others.
------------------------------------------
If he had not built the army while he was still alive, i could understand, but i just see this:
1. Guy makes up a story.
2. Says its from God.
3. Gets followers.
4. Makes Army.
5. Proceeds to Conquer.
6. Conquered make new converts.
I see a LOT of motive here, and i don't see at any point where he wouldn't have any motivation not to just make this stuff up.

well,it seems reasonable.
but I don't know man.
I will respect the holy text of islam and will not continue in this thread.
we can't know for certain what was going on back then.
It's their belief it was the only way,as the cities he took were unclean.
I'm a Christian,and I don't like crusade/jihads but...their religion.
