Texture Request Thread (For Skins/Camos)

I have a request, but it may be more of a question. There was once a texture pack that had Communist-aligned teams as bright red, and the other as bright blue, weapons and equipment were yellow, and there were sometimes purple effects as well (like that vest for scavenger). I can't seem to find it now, but I had been using it for several months before.

Anyone know of where this is or could someone make it? I'd greatly appreciate the help. Thank you.

Search the forum for 'texture hack' There are 3 or 4 or maybe more right here that do that. Be careful about the zdaclash ones though, because iirc they were not fixed right meaning bans were given out.

yeah werent they hex edited just for the colours not the fact that their the same as the original files..

Yeah there was a way to just hex edit the file to turn the gun a certain color. I forgot exactly which part you had to edit, but I do believe it would have caused it to be quite different from the original.

Search doesn't seem to work for me and I can't find this texture pack I had used. It was much better than the zdaclash ones for my needs. Oh well. I guess I could always just go about making it.

Edit: Found the one I was using. Apparently someone had leaked Craig87's pack on here and I happened to grab it before it was pulled. Too bad it cost money to get access. Oh well. At least I know which I had been using.

UPDATE:
i think i have now found the M1911 file.

Both found in iw_10.iwd,
now i believe that the first one is for SP mode and the other one is quite..obvious that it has "mp" in its name..as for the other files in iw_13 they may have been the previous version in cod4 etc or they may have been the shine/gold files were kinda looking for..in creating the gold..etc.

m1911 doesnt have a camo, its a single textured gun.
with a chance of shine.

i don't know, but if its gold, you could Copy that Exact Color, and maybey it works as a good gold camo:S
