Christianity states that Jesus essentially takes away your sins, allowing you to go to heaven. Athiest, never excepted Jesus, so they pay for their sins, but all this belongs in another section...

if someone has no belief in Him, why would He allow them into His domain?

Well thats what religion is. You believe in Him based of facts from the Bible. and He does, once you die
and you will have to make a choice

He doesnt force you to do anything, but instead if you accept him then he carries your sins.
Sins are what cause you to go to hell, not not believing. If you were completely perfect and had never commited a sin you would be allowed in heaven...
