low novice means that you can pretty much do more than brushes, no offence

but srsly this is too dull, you need to brighten it up, add soft brushing and c4ds

You might want to clarify that you mean effect c4d's and not anstract. Far too often I'm seeing people use abstract when they should be using effect.

Correctomundo, and even then you should only use small parts of them to give a debris effect.
