i think its good
So after a month of working on the service line. earned about thousand or so.
but shit happened and my com broke down.
so im getting a new one. here's the specs
Core: Intel i5 3.1 ghz, 6mb cache
mobo: asus h67-m sata6 (no idea waddafock is that)
hard disk: seagate 500gb
RAM: kingston ddr3 2gb(x2)
Graphics card: Nvidia GTS 450 extreme 1024mb
PSU: andyson silent g 480W
DVD rewriter: samsung SH223(idk why im getting this. i put no cds to my com)
Case: Some ATX Tower case with 2 fans.
all these shit cause about 900 in my currency. maybe about 700 in USD.
also to add, i thinking to change the core to i7 or get windows7. i cant choose between these two and im not getting those two at once.
wad do ya all think?

I see what you did there.
burns a hole in my pocket too.
i have no idea on which brands are good but i heard gigabyte, coolermaster are the few best.
so anyone got any reccomendations on brands on whichever part of the com?
I see what you did there.
checked all of them
either their fucking case is too small which would be too expensive or a big case with shit cores
and a good core cost 400 and above. might as well build one yerself. /
I see what you did there.
hmm that's true.
well you're on a budget.. can't expect a perfect computer.
i just recently bought a laptop for $280, if i put $400 into it it'd be better than alienware.. good to go shopping on boxing day
Physcadelic (01-20-2011),Skyline. (01-20-2011)
nice config
Good specs.
P.S: Could you please, change your font?
The red font is really hard to see and it hurt my eyes.
But besides that its a good deal you got all that for 700 USD. Not bad spec
You have no clue what you're doing. Hurr durr, 700€ gets you a better Sandy Bridge build any day with a 5770 (I prefer it to the 450).

Its good for the price
Core: Intel i5 3.1 ghz, 6mb cache=pretty good
mobo: asus h67-m sata6=sata6(6gb/s) is 2X the transfer speed of a Sata2(3gb/s)
hard disk: seagate 500gb=should add a SSD as a boot drive and make that one for storage
RAM: kingston ddr3 2gb(x2)=at least 6GB for gaming
Graphics card: Nvidia GTS 450 extreme 1024mb=no problem
PSU: andyson silent g 480W=1KW
DVD rewriter: samsung SH223=make it a ASUS blu-ray reader/writer
Case: Some ATX Tower case with 2 fans.=make is a good case with 3 or more fans, or result to watercooling
ur cpu is shit.
quad core cpu overclocked at 3.8ghz rapes i5.
Core: Intel i5 3.1 ghz, 6mb cache=pretty good for gaming, not for other stuff
mobo: asus h67-m sata6=sata6(6gb/s) is 2X the transfer speed of a Sata2(3gb/s) he doesn't even reach sata2 speeds
hard disk: seagate 500gb=should add a SSD as a boot drive and make that one for storage agree on that one, raid10 for other stuff
RAM: kingston ddr3 2gb(x2)=at least 6GB for gaming dual channel memory - 8GB
Graphics card: Nvidia GTS 450 extreme 1024mb=no problem would have preferred the 5770 but they're about the same
PSU: andyson silent g 480W=1KW yup, 480W is kinda little...
DVD rewriter: samsung SH223=make it a ASUS blu-ray reader/writer imo not worth getting a blu-ray unit, how many blu-rays is he even gonna ever use?
Case: Some ATX Tower case with 2 fans.=make is a good case with 3 or more fans, or result to watercooling I wouldn't go for LC with such a build, a decent case + replacements for stock heatsinks / fans would help with some OCing though
