Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Problem

Hello,

I recently found Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 2 for a bargain online so I decided to buy it.

All has gone well except for something which is really starting to infuriate me.

The problem is this;

I go on Split-screen multiplayer with my little brother a lot and we both love the ranking system, but whenever I get to anything past rank 16 (Staff Sergeant) it works ok but then when I exit the game and try to load my MP profile at a later time it [bold]ALWAYS[/bold] says 'The data is corrupted'

I was wondering if any of you guys have had the same problem and if anybody knows how to fix it could you please tell me as this would be greatly appreciated.

i think he is talking about offline and i have know clue about that 1 or most problems

I never mentioned anything about online play, I said split-screen multiplayer. If you had even a little common sense, you would understand that I was talking about offline play.

Saint, Have you attempted to delete all game day off your harddrive completely then trying to start from scratch? That should fix most corruptions, but you may be an unlucky one and still have a corrupted file but it's worth the attempt I say.

Sorry for the late reply, yes I have tried this, I have also formatted my entire HDD and this did not work either.

I have recently updated my PS3 and haven't tried it since due to the fact that I don't want to waste my time if it isn't going to work.

DO you have any more suggestions?
