do i need movie maker?...

Just Get Adobe After effects and my opinion add lots of earthquakes + zoom in zoom out + flares = Pro

This is what you will want, AE is probably not worth it if you've never done montages before and FRAPs is the only decent screen recording software that's popular and easy to use.
