theres not a whole lotta easter eggs or anything special in that one besides the warp zone and theres a secret level in world 3 that you have to beat the game at least once to even get to

lol get slam and go back to the begining (mario n lugi's house) slam on the floor near the far side and you'll go to a secret room with a bunk bed n a diary full of lugi's random notes(some of em are actually really funny)
paper mario has a fuck load of hidden shit in it its best to just experiment where you can on that one
