My argument holds much more reality than yours. We can survive on plants, 100%. You're just much too ignorant and bitchy to realize it.

Your ideas are that of a childs, its with good intentions, but it wouldn't work in the real world.

I'm sure a child has made an idea using hydroponics and acre-large 50 story plots.

It would work in the real world, and since you are basing this idea that it wouldn't off of little to no knowledge of the subject, I would just cut my losses.

I'm not saying its technologically impossible.

I'm saying that economically, its pointless, and that veganism as a whole is fine in practice, but its not possible to convince the majority of the population that it is bad on "moral" grounds.
    --------------------------

Your idea is nice and all, and in theory, it could work. But the problem is the motivation to do it isn't there.

Example: I want a skyscraper full of fast-food.

    Possible: yes.
    Will it happen: No.

We are not taking into account morality or whether or not people will participate.

Argument: We cannot survive solely on plants.
Disproof 1: By using methods of sustainability, we can.
Counter Argument: People will not go for methods of sustainability.
Disproof 2: Your argument was about surviving solely on plants. You didn't include any more information, and it has been proven that we can survive solely on plants.

    Argumental status: Disproven

:/ the problem is the reality.

    Can we: yes.
Can we do it now: no.
Can we do it in the future: yes.
Will we do it in the future: no.

Simply put, you can do it in the future, but you won't.

There are some people in this world though, that absolutely need the specifics only found in meat. But the majority of us, I'm pretty sure we could survive.

    Can we: Yes
Can we do it now: Yes, if now means as soon as possible and finish within my lifetime, feeding every human being on earth
Can we do it in the future: Of course
Will we use the method I've presented to feed large cities? Probably. Will we use it as the only source of food? Probably not.

Meat isn't the only source of proteins.

It will eventually. Will it be the only source of food? Probably not, unless we somehow destroy other species.
