how the fuck do you install this shit?

so i wanna get the NPC Trader mod for my server, i put the 2 .jar files in the correct location, i installed MySQL, then restarted the server. When i go back ingame (im admin) and type '/npc create bob 6 10' it boots me from the server saying 'Internal server error'

can anyone post a tut on it or gimme help?
not even thomas can help me

bukkit, how do i check which version it is?

Theres a command but i forgot what it is but your best bet is to just update your bukkit and then update your plugins.

My provider wont let me install mysql, soooo hold on.

So basically the internal server error happens to me some times when i reload my server and i suppose a plugin just dun goofs for a second, and frankly i don't know what to tell you unless i can install it.
