Should i buy him? Every single Karthus i have been against raeps my entire team just with his ult and AOE. I have even went against one who bought a deathcap and then stacked the rest of his inventory with archangels to get him a total of 1.1k ap, no matter how much me and my team stacked negatrons to try to dampen down the damage, but no. We even died while standing on the well.

Or is there a better champ with a better AOE and ult?

He's easily burstable, so only people who don't know how to play get in his aura and earth thingy

any nub can play him and just ks with his ultimate or wall people. He has his ups and down, dif every game pretty much. Also your team must fed the shit out of that karth cause i've only ever seen veigar's with over 900 AP.

he is prettx good,if you can keep the other champs from your creeps of when
use your Q-skill often. (1-2 seconds respawn), which means they cant get exp.

he is basically very easy to play but he has his ups and his down.

hmmm 5 AS's will give him about 350 mana :3 on top of the mana from them then add death cap, might be a bit more.

karthus is easy to kill if you just go in and kill him he isnt a tank. I own karthus and yes 5 archangles and 1 deathcap is max ap which is possible to get 1.3-5k depending on runes/masteries. You can also easily block his ulti with items or shields, so get a banshees veil or another item to live past it. Oh and about the veigar thing my friend played veigar and got over 1.7k ap,since veigar can get ap per minon kill with his q he can get unlimited power.
