I just saw it on Netflix, really interesting.

It's about a platoon that goes to the Korengal Valley on Afghanistan for 15 months to provide security for a main road to promote business.
Also named the most dangerous zone in the country.

Just made me wonder why the hell were still over there even more than I did.
The people in those villages were obviously lying through their teeth, they lost a few guys from their platoon, and their sister platoon lost 9, and for what purpose?
Geurilla warfare can't be fought with a conventional army.
