If someone broke into your house

Would you be able to kill them without hesitating? This isn't a I think I could, or yeah, I play video games so I can kill someone easily, If you had a gun pointed at someone you didn't know that broke into your house, could you shoot them?

I know some people can, I know some people can't, I know some people don't know.

Personally I'm sure I could without flinching, and feel no remorse or anything about it. That's just me.

Although I've never killed anyone; I almost know how it feels to. It's a horrible feeling; it's like feeling really guilty and - well - I'm not quite sure how to describe it.

That person was just like you and under different circumstances could've been your wife or best friend.

Depends on the situation. If he had a gun at my head, most likely. But robbers very rarely aim to kill when robbing a place, so I think I would patiently wait til his guard is down to strike. Disarming him would be priority, then detainment. I have never had much real world application, but I have taken some classes, and know how to disarm someone. My stepdad was a big gun freak so I got to "get learned" about all the ins and outs of it.

Now if he was threatening someone else on the other hand, I would certainly be more proactive about it.

I feel that if someone poses a threat to your life, they are ultimately responsible for their own actions and you have the right to ensure your safety.

If someone breaks in my house, they know what they are doing, and what could happen, so they deserve it. Under certain circumstances, like need food or something, that's generally something that would make me feel remorse, but I'm talking about someone just looting you, nothing is known about them just that they are robbing you. You don't know their state of mind, or anything about them.

I think I wouldn't view them as a human, and more of a threat.

Killing someone is a big deal, and honestly, I dont think I could do it even if I was being robbed. I dont know what it is but if it was me in harms way, I would probably beat the shit out of him at most, but once someone else is in harms way, I'm coming after the mother fucker.

This is only speaking of someone looting. If he was there with the intention of doing harm, I probably would. But if hes just after my stuff, a good ass whooping is in order, followed by jail time.

Depends..if he was armed with a gun and I had the drop on him I would most likely kill him.
I love life too much to take the chance of getting killed by some scumfuck that needs to steal what other people work hard for. If the person was unarmed, or armed with a knife or something, I'd just blow off his kneecaps to teach him a lesson.
