I didn't drop out because I was addicted. I did because after I started smoking, I just didn't feel like doing anything and became extremely lazy. The addiction had nothing to do with it.

I'd get kicked out for stupid shit...I'm not a fan of school...I tried options, and all kind of shit. None of it works out for Fuko. I had originally intended to switch from HS to the community college, simply because I was too lazy to do school work, and hated the system that I had to do it in. I knew most of the material, (the useful material anyways) I just hated showing up on time and doing work outside of school, and taking tests. I also had a bad case of senioritis.

But I punched myself in the face, actually did the work, brought 4 failing (presumably unrecoverable) grades up to passing, and earned my Diploma. Because Diploma > GED, and if all else fails, I always have the military, and you cant get in the air force (my proffered branch) with just a GED.

Yeah, I was thinking of that a while back...I can always go to the marines or something, and get it that way. I'm scared of war though

I'm not a big fan of the air force though it would seem pretty amazing to fly in one of those things.

The USAF is one of the safer branches, especially if you go for the technological department, which is where I would go. If I were to make a serious career for it, I would try to work my way up to a drone pilot.

Also, the perks for the USAF are beast too. Home, food, dental/health plans, and lots of money. An E1 only serving 2 years makes about $1000 a month. Its not a lot, but considering you have everything else practically given to you, its not like you will have a lot to spend it on.
