Why can't I edit my Post?

as stated above, why can't I edit my thread even though I am logged in and is the thread starter?

You can edit more than once, but you cant edit a post if its more than 24 hours old.

Unless you have moderation powers of the section the thread is in (And you don't), you can't edit it past the 24 hour mark. And the title after the 30 minute mark.
