C++ Program to mess with friends

Im going to make a virus in C++, but I want some ideas:

First of all, Im not a douche, this virus is just for looks, it will freak them out but wont do that much damage. Maybe create a folder, or file here or there...change some settings, stuff like that, but not FORMAT C:

So far Im trying to figure out how to open up the scary picture that you get in the maze game, but it will open every time you start the computer.

Any ideas are welcome, even drawing a penis on their screen...Just nothing that will mess with there computer too badly. I dont want to end up fixing it.

Anyways, Best guess is probably just calling any Micrapsoft photo viewer with the image, Creating the window in fullscreen for his scary face idea, Or hooking DWM/Explorer/Whatever else that draws, and drawing it over everything, Can be funny.

Can I ask what's the point though ?, Not like fake-virii's are any fun / teach you anything.

Edit : Okay that may be not true, I enjoyed stopping explorer's runtime and drawing portal "Still Alive" lyrics on desktop with the music playing, People that know the game's reactions are kinda epic., But don't make it permanent though D:

well u coudld put it on the msconfig part , "my start folder" everytime he open the pc , it will run that archive , hhahaah, msconfig works well! just put it into a really hard folder and .lnk to msconfig!!

For starters it's a prank virus and basically, the screen goes black on the computer, then "comes back to life". After it gives a couple of error messages and what not, it stops the taskbar (making it not visible and unusable). It will then display a message on a loop with a sleep advising the user to reboot the system.



If you wanted to test it, you can either restart your computer after you use it. Or do what I do, kill the process (whatever you have the C++ project saved as .exe) to stop the looping, and then kill explorer and start explorer again.

Whichever you prefer works.
