How to get wolfs :D

Guys the easyest way to get wolfs is to NOT. i repeat NOT to go around aimlessly for agers looking for forest. that will not get you restults.
also, you DONT need to have it off peacefull. wolfs can be caught just as easy on peacefull.

Start building your house.
build it up with lots of lights, then make a massive tower so you can find your way back when looking for cave to mine.
once you build up a nice big bright house and theres plenty of anaimals around, wait till its dark and just walk around your house and the general area.
this may take 1-2 nights but your sure to find one.
if not then go out far away then come back to your house, when its dark there should be heaps .

Or you can ask me for my world right outside of my spawn point where my house is packs of them always spawn their I got 8 wolfs or so.

Actually yes the easiest way is to just wander around in the forest. Wolves only spawn in taiga and forest Biomes. Forest biomes have about 25 trees per chunk, so if you are in a pretty dense set of trees, wolves may spawn. They have to have at least 7 light to spawn, (for comparison, all other friendly mobs need 9) so the conditions will not be hard to get.

The issue is that wolves just dont spawn as frequently as other mobs. Plain and easy. Their spawn rate is lower, and due to them having slightly more restrictions on spawning (except light) makes it just that much harder for them to spawn. They are not hard to find per se, you just have to be patient.

Your method doesnt have anything different though. Wolves just have a lower spawn rate.
