    Hmm... underrated.

I think Asher Roth is pretty underrated. Some really good lyrics.

Sure bout that mang? If he actually tried to have lyrics that meant something, maybe he'd be a little better rated.

Plenty of rappers have good lyrics and messages in their songs, its just that no one now days wants to listen to lyrics. You don't have to be lyrical like biggie or tupac was anymore to make money in the music world. Its all about what you can blast in your car and the club, I for one would love to see a resurgence in hip hop focused on lyrical talent rather than who can cop the sickest sample and mash out the hardest beat. Some old school common would be awesome.

Nothing wrong with swagging the fuck out some times. Its not like I listened to based music because I love it, its fun to just listen to some straight nigga shit, when you have a whole song talking about nutting in a girls hair, that shit is fucking hilarious.

Ash roth underrated? When I love college came out that is literally the only song I heard for weeks on end. EVERYONE was listening to that shit.

I agree that some of his other stuff doesnt get much attention even though its good.

and @iverson954360 not all lyrical music is good. Drake and Eminems new albums are supposedly really lyrical, but I cant listen to either. But then again I am a bigger fan of club style rap than anything

I'm a Buddhist, Christian, Paramedic, Vegan, Straight Edge Pimp
But most of all, I am the flyest one you will ever meet.
