hmmm... well monitors are square as normal, same prob with my background..... try making it around a 1200X1200 pixels picture and then it set it to stretch. it should shrink to screen nicely

Monitors and resolution sizes are not square, so the best sizes to use, when creating a wallpaper are:

    • 800x600
    • 1024x768
    • 1152x864
    • 1280x1024

If you want to check what size your resolution is so as not to stretch the renders and text, on your PC do the following:

    1. Go to your Desktop.
    2. Right click anywhere on your Desktop, other than Icons.
    3. Click Properties.
    4. Change to the Settings tab.
    5. Read or change what it says in the Screen Resolution frame.
    6. Press OK to save changes, Cancel to revert changes.

Try just finding one good big render and use it like a giant sig and just wirk on the one render. You probably wont even have to resize the render.
