Wrong actually, there is some exploits in things like flash and java on certain webpages. I remember fpsbanana got hit with something a long time ago, that would install itself and you never know.

I had something like that before....redirected every virus scanning site to local hosts IP.

Open it in notepad, and remove it.
If you get an error, run notepad as administrator, and do it from there.
