i have actually had this happen to me.... i had a 1 day Black mag, and 5 kits. on the third i got a 90 day increase but the rest were ones. on all other guns i have tried it hasnt worked. My friend also tried it and had the same luck the 7th time he did it, so i only assume that each person has one chance when using 5 kits on one gun, that it actually gets 90 days or perm..
Long story short, this (almost) doesnt work.
