[Release] Windowed Mode

1. Download the file attached (d3d9.dll)
2. Place it in your Combat Arms installation directory
3. Start Combat Arms
4. When u press windows button or alt+tab you need to bring up task manager and right click the proccess and click Minimize. If you click Maximize you will be stuck.


You do not need a working bypass for this, as of right now.
I don't take credit for this file as it's made by Microsoft.

NOTE: The game is set to run the menus in 1024 x 768 so
if that's the resolution you are using go to your options and change it
to 800 x 600 and you will be in windowed mode when you start a game.

I recommend this to people running higher resolutions than 1024 x 768.

This isn't much of a window mode. You can't use other programs (CA always stays on top), and when I go into an actual game, it goes full screen (Sorta, when I alt+tab though I see the menu bar but still can't use other programs).

What you did is called blind leeching, trying to be a good guy by just seeing something your site wanted on another site posted by someone else and bringing it over here without checking to see if it works, or if it's virus free. Don't do it again please.

This file "works" and is found suspicious and potentially dangerous by 4 virus scanners. It's made by Microsoft (I checked). It runs CA in a smaller screen but it doesn't allow the use of other programs, it doesn't cause the actual games to go into a smaller screen. There has been no such proof it will help with any lag.
