    Jailbreaking 4.3.2

    I recently got a new iPod touch 4G (finally saved enough ). Alot of my friends jailbroke theirs using Greenp0ison, but the firmware needs to be 4.2.1 ( I believe, correct me if I'm wrong). How could you downgrade this? I looked it up on YouTube and Google, but got frustrating answers that said I had to already saved the SHSH using TinyUmbrella.

    btw I'm a newb with Apple.

    You can no longer downgrade I believe.

    You can try it, but I doubt it'll work.

    Download the 4.2.1 firmware, plug in your iPod, then go to it, Shift+Click on the restore button, and select the firmware that you downloaded.

    I tried using Redsn0w, but apparently, I cannot find the .ipsw files in which the firmware is placed in, which is essential for the Redsn0w jailbreak. I have tried showing hidden folders, but to no avail

    You don't need the original IPSW file that comes with iTunes? So, theoretically, it should work if I download the current firmware that I have on the iPod and place it on my desktop to use with Redsn0w? (Sorry, I really fail with Apple )

    @Dr.Fapper yes.

    Any 4.2+ firmware should do, if downgrading still works.

    And no problems, you just got it, so it's all
